IBAU Air-Lift for silo charging
IBAU Air-Lifts are the real pack horses for the simple and dustfree pneumatic vertical transport. They do their duty without lamentation for many years. They do not ask for much maintenance as they have no machanical parts in the conveying way which have to be maintained. A rotary piston blower supplying the conveying air does not require much maintenance as well. ( Air intake filter and charging of gear oil).
Parts of an Air-Lift system are: The cylindrical Air-Lift body with fluidizing bottom, the vertical nozzle and conveying pipe, a seperator (when not charging directly a heat exchanger or a small silo). At hte end of the conveying way a dustfilter or the connection is neccessary A rotary piston blower or a group of blowers suplly the neccessary oilfree conveying air. A column of conveying good forms the air lock against atmospheric pressure; with other words the higher to convey the higher the Air-Lift body.
